Pirates & Thieves
04:00
|
|||
I want to live where I can afford, but the fees keep on rising
I used to play a major role in the choice of my housing
But pirates and thieves took our homes and they tore em down
On the curb, with nothing but souvenirs, the condo towers have won
Where to now?
Is there anywhere left for me?
I had a yard, I had a porch, so did my neighbors
We used to sit, we used to talk, ponder about things that don't matter
Then promoters came and the market changed, coffee was 10$ a cup
Then the landlords expelled in mass to renovate, then they hiked the rent up
My neighbors and I had to realize, it's the same thing all around
It's happened before, we can't stay anymore, goodbye to this side of town
Where to now?
Is there anywhere left for me?
Hello, new neighbor, won't you tell me your name, oh-oh, oh-oh
We don't have things but we can share our pain, oh-oh, oh-oh

Sick & Tired
02:43
|
|||
I'm sick and tired of so many little things
I'm sick and tired of me
So, it happened again, it's still always the same thing
Reminiscing of all of my worst of yesterday's fears
Crashing under the weight of the perpetual state
Of mass production of hate on a global scale
Oh, give me a break
I'm sick and tired of so many little things
I'm sick and tired of me
Tragedies every day, it continues anyway
Taking as many trees and lives as it mays
It's a hustle, a real big struggle
Made to hide it all so we brawl between ourselves
Oh, give me a break
I'm sick and tired
I'm sick and tired of me
I'm sick and tired of so many little things
I'm sick and tired of me
I'm sick and tired

Where Are You?
02:59
|
|||
You know I miss you friend
You're so fucking precious
I want to see you
But you're so far right now
We shared the best times
You know we shared so much
To be next to you is all
That I want for us
There will be a time
And this time will come soon
Where we'll be once again
In the same room
We'll go out and away
Into the woods
Or we'll go
Anywhere that you want
Hey, where are you
I want to feel close like we used to do
Hey, where are you
I wonder if you think about the same things that I do
I can't wait
'til the next time I see you
I have so many stories
To share with you
And the next time
I will make sure that you are laughing
Because I've been missing this sight
Way too much
So, get your phone
Make sure that I get your message
I want to hear your voice
I want to hear you shout
Just let me know
Where you are, where I can pick you up
You know I can give you a ride or if you want
We can walk
Hey, where are you
I want to feel close like we used to do
Hey, where are you
I wonder if you think about the same things that I do

Make It Better
03:08
|
|||
Make it better for you
All the trials you've gone through
It might be okay
Let grow your seeds
Who knows, we'll see
It might be okay
Inside it's war and outside it's war
Negativity buds, negativity floods
Inside my garden, I'll plant flowers and leafy greens
So I forget about the war
Make it better for you
All the trials you've gone through
It might be okay
Let grow your seeds
Who knows, we'll see
It might be okay
Inside it's war and outside it's war
Negativity buds, negativity floods
Inside my garden, I'll plant flowers and leafy greens
So I forget about the war
Make it better for you
All the trials you've gone through
It might be okay
Let grow your seeds
Who knows, we'll see
It might be okay
Make it better for you
All the trials you've gone through
It might be okay
Let grow your seeds
Who knows, we'll see
It might be okay

Hypocrites
03:08
|
|||
Government's rolling in green, money bills, hypocrisy and weed
State-sanctioned clean greed, market manipulating machine
A pot growing man's family told to silently grieve
A retired cop now tends the crop, he gets subsidies
Cannabis prisoners
Makes no sense!
Let them be
Governments make money
Hypocrites!
Set them free
How many small time dealers doing time for a decade
And they stay inside while the state now do the same
Lock the competition in a cage, paid 30 cents a day
Take control of all these lives, just another way to get paid
Cannabis prisoners
Makes no sense!
Let them be
Governments make money
Hypocrites!
Set them free

Don't Choose For Me
03:27
|
|||
My body feels wrong, I need a doctor
He judges the whole time just 'cause I'm younger
There's no pill for them to take so I gotta do it
I need your help, but you abuse of your power
This is it, we have enough
No more talking down to any of us
We deserve to have a voice
Don't choose for me
No more shame for choosing ourselves
No more doctors who question our motivations
You're not the one who's feeling our pain
My body, my choice
They're pissing me off, those wannabe preachers
Attacking the minds of my stressed sisters
Taking position on a subject that don't affect them
If your God exists, you know he loves us more
This is it, we have enough
No more talking down to any of us
We deserve to have a voice
Don't choose for me
No more shame for choosing ourselves
No more doctors who question our motivations
You're not the one who's feeling our pain
My body, my choice
